The short version: this website does not track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not send a single request to anyone else.
Who we are

Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies, none at all, and does no fingerprinting. That is why you were not shown a cookie banner.
There is exactly one thing we ever store on your device, and only if you
ask for it. If you use the light/dark switch in the corner, your choice is
saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme,
with the value light or dark. That is the whole
contents.
It holds no identifier and nothing about you, it never leaves your browser, and it is never sent to our server or to anyone else. Storing it needs no consent because it is strictly necessary for something you explicitly asked for by clicking the switch. If you never touch the switch, nothing is stored at all and the site simply follows your operating system's appearance setting. Clearing your browsing data removes it.
No third parties
Every asset (the stylesheet, the font, the images) is served from this domain. In particular the Nunito typeface is self-hosted, so your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other font host, and your IP address is never disclosed to one.
There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no social widget, no chat bubble, and no content delivery network.
No forms
We deliberately do not run a newsletter or a signup form. There is no account to create and no field to fill in, so there is nothing here that asks you for personal data. The one exception is the ordinary server logging described below, which our host performs.
Our apps
The same principle applies to the software we build: our apps are designed not to collect your personal data. When an app has shipped, anything specific to it will be documented here.

Server logs
Our hosting provider, IONOS SE, automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested: the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web server operation and is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Visitor IP addresses in those log files are anonymised. The logs are kept for a maximum of eight weeks and are then deleted. They are not passed to any third party.
We do not read these logs to learn anything about you. We do not combine them with anything else, do not build a profile from them, and do not use them to identify you.
If you email us
When you write to us we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful, and we never sell it or pass it on for marketing.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we process it, and to receive it in a portable form. Given the above, in practice this will usually only concern an email you have sent us.
To exercise any of these rights, just write to us. If you think we have handled your data improperly you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
